Cristina Ornellas is a Brazilian film maker, photographer & music journalist and fashion designer.
 

In Brazil I worked as a photographer, music and fashion journalist and PR for multiple fashion brands. As an international correspondent for the american music magazine Spin website, in Rio de Janeiro and later on other magazines and websites, i had the chance to work with the biggest names in rock and metal field, in and out of Finland.

In Finland I have directed a documentary "A Heavy Metal Civilization", available at Yle Areena and Amazon Prime. A short film that tells the history of Finnish Heavy Metal, staring big names like, Eicca Toppinen (Apocalyptica), Marco Hietala (Nightwish) and other makers of the Finnish Metal music history.

Also in the fashion and photography fields I have assisted the Finnish fashion designer Mirkka Metsola, based in Helsinki, and the photojournalist Meeri Koutaniemi.
